I know that I have posted in my previous post that I am going to post about my experience in Cambodia but I'm feeling damn lazy to type everything out !!! I have decided to keep everything to myself and just remember as much of the experience I got from the trip as I can. HAHAHHA !!! The general conclusion from my trip is that I have learnt a lot from the country and I will definitely go back again when I have the chance to and that is most probably in August if the Swine Flu situation does not get worse. I am sooo tempted to book the tickets now because it is so damn cheap but then like Jacq said, there is a risk. Because of what Jacq said, I am just waiting and praying hard that everything will be under control soon.
Anyway, I got back my exams results. Overall, it is not too bad even though it really could have been better. However, I still thank GOD for whatever I got because the results were better than my initial forecast of straight Bs and B+(s). My cumulative GPA just drop by 0.01 which is not too bad. I should be happy about it because I was expecting worse. I guess whatever happened to me over the last few months and the start of 2009 was a trial that I just need to go through. I will make a comeback when Year 3 starts and I believe there will be people who are joining me in the frontline fighting this war. The war is just going to get worse if my application for a secondary degree in Accountancy is successful. HAHHA ! Application opens on 11 May 2009.
I am into the second week of Summer Term and everything is going on fine so far. 3 MORE WEEKS BEFORE IT ALL ENDS !!! I think that I have made a good decision taking Strategy over the summer term because the course content is lesser. Assignments have been reduced from 3 to 2 and there is not need to do a report for the team project, just a presentation will do. NOT BAD RIGHT ??? HAHA !!! After Summer Term, TURKEY HERE I COME !!!
I have already inforned my Turkish counterpart about my flight details and everything. I am excited to go visit Turkey but then with all the Swine Flu spreading around the world, my parents are worried and they might just ask me to stay in SG. Haiz. I can only hope that everything will be under control within the next month and I can FLY AWAY from Singapore !!! I think it will be a good experience because I have never been to that part of the world and i think it will ROCK MY SOCKS off. HAHA !!! I think I must try to find time to research about Turkey and decide where I would like to visit.. I must prepare to immerse myself in their culture..
I am still looking forward to the rest of 2009 despite what is happening right now.
